The existence of evil in the world is only a problem if you believe in an omnipotent, omnipresent Deity who is dedicated entirely to good. This is known as good vs. evil dualism. Not all religions view the nature of the Divine or Deity in this way.
For instance, I see Deity in a construction vs. destruction dualism. Sometimes destruction and endings are necessary to remove obstacles that have been constructed. For instance, the destruction of an abandoned building is necessary in order to construct a new building.

We often get attached to things that really need to go in order to make room for new opportunities, etc in our lives. Think about this, if everyone followed God's commandments then how much pain would there be in the world? Maybe a little bit from hostile weather? And still then people would be helping out so much that things would be better much faster.
If we dont experience the pain, and misery then how will we know the difference and how will we be able to enjoy the pleasure of life?
World population is currently growing by approximately 75 million people per year. Is this your misery ?

If the company undergoes an Inland Revenue audit there is a good chance that a tax charge will be levied on the payment. If he completes and annual tax return and someone at the tax office spots the disparity (i.e. pay off but still with same employer) he could be challenged personally although any final liability might still rest
with the employer depending on the exact circumstances.

I would expect there to be no hard and fast rule concerning how long it is before you can go back. If it was under a month I am sure it would set off alarm bells. If the "redundant" employee came back very soon after as a self-employed "consultant" doubtless there would be a chance that his contract would be looked into.

I think anyone examining into these scenarios from a tax point of view would look at the correspondence exchanged at the time of the redundancy, what hapened in the interim and why a decision was made to re-hire.

Eyebrows against sweat, sun light, rain. They protect eyes from damage and you can make expressions like surprise or anger.

Nasal hairs act as fibrous filters for inhaled particles. Strangely, even though testosterone is what's behind hair loss, it's also the culprit in more hair growth in places like your nose and your ears and eyebrows.
A small quantity of nasal hair is required to stop snot constantly falling out of your nose.
