I have had similar experiences. Sometimes to touch a piece of my clothing was quite painful.
I shall follow the answers to this question with interest because all I could do was wait until it went away. Perhaps someone can provide a solution.

I use the button when I feel that it us a question the answers to which will prove especially helpful to myself.
I cannot judge whether a question is generally helpful to all members.
I do not use the button for questions which are just interesting.

All children who commenced secondary school this year (and younger of course) will have to stay in education until 17 years of age in England.
In Wales (where I live) the leaving age is still 16years.
