I'm guessing, without working it out, that he would be in the same place as where he started, perhaps a minute earlier so he would still be an April's fool?

Created by Dr. Robert Atkins (1930-2003) this diet breaks away from former models of what exactly is appropriate to ear. Atkins replaced the traditional food pyramid, with carbohydrates on the bottom, protein in the middle and fat on the top by a model cutting out virtually all carbohydrates. Atkins claimed that carbohydrates were the major cause of metabolic disorders including obesity.

There are four phases:

Induction: no more than 20 grams of carbohydrate a day. Instead eat lean meat (poultry and seafood), cheese, cream, salad and some vegetables. No caffeinated or alcoholic beverages. Weight loss can be fast in this stage – up to 3-4 kg per week.

Ongoing weight loss (OWL): gradual increase in carbohydrates (5 grams per day) until the dieter is within 4.5 kg of their target weight. The goal of this stage is to find the critical level of carbohydrate intake for weight loss.

Pre-maintenance: Continued increase of carbohydrates aimed at discovering the correct level of carbohydrate intake to maintain an individual’s desired weight.

Lifetime maintenance: A continuation of the above phases with the option of going back to earlier phases if weight fluctuates.

There are mixed opinions in the medical community regarding the safety of this diet.
