Each university will stipulate their own requirements. Psychology training is in great demand and their are usually 5 applicants for every 1 university place, thus those individuals who hold degrees may be given preference but you may get a place depending on the university you apply too with 3 A levels..

You're not usually require to have a psychology A level, as most universities prefer you not to have one (there is a difference in the teaching styles, i.e. how to write reports). Some universities now require you to have a degree in biology, as a large portion of psychology covers biological perspectives. It will say in each university prospectus how many UCAS credits you need to enroll on the psychology course. The amount of UCAS credits you get from your A levels will be on your results slip. You need to have at least 3 A levels. A lot of universities now require you to have at least a C in both English and Maths GCSE, due to the amount of writing and statistics you encounter.
