Obviously except man and cars...

xoloriib answers:

Brock the badger is the only one intelligent enough to be able to uncurl and eat a hedgehog.

My Nan`s dog used to bring them in and run underneath the roll top bath with them. What she did with them I don`t know but there was always blood everywhere, and I used to get very upset.
I wouldn`t put it past a fox to play around with one,and maybe get lucky !

I thought the only things that ate hedgehogs (other than roadkill ones) were travellers or Gypsies - I guess they are part of the Human race although sometimes they are so badly treated I wonder if their persecutors are a part of humankind...
I understand that baking them in clay in a closed fire pit is a good way of cooking them and enabling the skin and spines to be removed with the clay - leaving a soft inner free from crunchy bits!!!

A nutritious tip and much cheaper than finding them permanent sites.

Foxes, stoats and pine martens. Cats and dogs are a source of harrassment. Badgers eat them, but also outcompete them for earthworms which are their major food source.
