Hmm, struggling with a sentance
I have just completed an essay on evolution and would like to add a cheeky line under my paragraph regarding the fact that once the, eh hem, reproductive organs have completed their job, size and shape become secondary characteristics. I want to add something about the Peacocks tail being impressive but simply a tool for attracting a mate?

Can anyone think of a line I could use but could also get away with saying?!
asked in biology, evolution, bird

Hiheels answers:

I'll carefully side step "more than a handful's a waste" and leave you with "anything else is just window dressing".
