Probably back in the Cave Man Days, but as they ate it we will never know. Bread was never white as we know it today, it had a sorta brownish tinge to it. Hovis is still my favourite, but it depends what sorta sarnie I fancy as well, but must admit I prefer Warburtons to some others.
