having a lazy Sunday and decieded to watch TV, found out that there is nothing sensible or enterytaining to watch without Sky. Does anyone else feel that the standard TV channels are worthless?

I gave up my television some ten years ago as I found it was the quickest way to put me to sleep. From what I have heard it as not improved since and remains just as boring now days.

I have to say that there are times when you even find that there's bog all on any TV channels, including Sky. There's only so many times you can watch re-runs of Friends and Star Trek, be thrilled by a home make-over show, or watch Lee Evans Live (again) on Paramount.

That said, I do tend to watch a fair bit of terrestrial TV, especially at the weekend - Saturday nights used to be good (although we're now back to having bloomin' Ant & Dec's takeaway again. Surely that format it past it, now?), and Sunday evening is a joy of ice-skating and Wild at Heart, just requiring a switchover to ITV2+1 for Supernatural at 10pm!
